This is what we did on SaturdayShe really dislikes being late. If She is ever late for anything, call the police because something serious has happened for sure.  That’s why on Sunday, we arrived at 9 am for the fourth annual Ocean Beach Kiwanis Club’s Canine Carnival and Costume Contest. Registration was at 10 am.

There were lots of vendors. There were groups representing animal organizations educating the public about their work and accepting donations.

Then there were vendors or People representing companies with products, goods or services to sell.  I learned about a company in Sweden that makes  “think games” for dogs.

So Fido, if you’re listening, when you find yourself home alone, instead of playing Solitaire on the computer or chasing your tail, you can play these games that have been especially designed to stimulate your thinking. Baby Einstein, only for dogs.

There was a meetup group of Great Dane owners. Great Danes are enormous dogs.  On two feet, they can stand 6 feet tall.

The Cat In The Hat with Thing 1 and Thing 2There was an agility course (of sorts), bobbing for wieners, and a tail wagging contest. The highlight of the day was the Canine Costume Contest.

I can only hope your weekend was as fun as mine.
