Today is the first Monday in September. Today– is Labor Day! Labor Day was created by the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of  the American worker.

It’s our country’s annual, national tribute to and acknowledgement of the contributions of American workers to the political stability, military strength, economic prosperity, and social well-being of our country.

Labor Day is being observed in towns and cities across the nation with street parades that symbolize “the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations” of the community, followed by festivals, county fairs and community picnics for the recreation and amusement of workers and their families.

A robust labor force is the blood, sweat and tears of the economic success of our nation.  It’s the reason why ours is the highest standard of living and productivity in the world. On Labor Day, the nation takes a figurative day off to honor and recognize the hard work and intellectual ingenuity that supports so much of our nation’s strength, freedoms, and leadership — the American worker.

Goodwill Energies I project towards each and every one of you each and every day!

“And there came to be evening and there came to be morning…”

That’s life today!
